02.10.2015 - Technical view on stock indexes

The price of the futures on the American stock index S&P500 broke through the upper limit of the local downward channel, and is trying to gain a foothold above it. In case of success quotes will continue to rise to 1950 and 2000. The fall is limited by the support at 1850, overcoming of which will lead to further reduction to 1780. Our medium-term outlook remains positive and we expect increased volatility today.

Nearest resistance levels: 1950, 2000, 2025, 2045, 2070, 2085, 2100, 2120, 2135

Nearest support levels: 1910, 1886, 1850, 1780

The price of the futures on the German stock index DAX30 continues to move between the sloping line of resistance and support level at 9400. In case of fixing above the local maximum at 9800, we expect further growth to 10400. On the other hand the overcoming of support 9400 will be the basis for a drop in prices to 9000 and 8500. The medium-term outlook remains negative despite a substantial likelihood of further fall.

Nearest support levels: 9600, 9400, 9000, 8500

The price of the futures on the Japanese stock index Nikkei225 has risen to the level of the upper boundary of the descending channel after overcoming the resistance at 17500. Break through given level and fixing above the level of 18000, will be a signal to buy with the first targets at 18500 and 19200. It is worth noting the significant possibility of renewed price reduction in the downward channel to the nearest minimum at 17000. Our medium-term outlook remains negative.
