03.02.2015 - Verizon Communications wants to sell assets for $ 10 billion

American corporation Verizon Communications got closer to a deal for the sale of certain assets of the company including towers for cell phones and part of the wireless business. Estimated value of the deal could be worth about 10 billion US dollars. Currently the company is actively working on the repayment of the debt for a license for a wireless connection, which it acquired at the government auction. The company is the largest wireless carrier in the country, but despite the purchase of Vodafone Group, the prospects for investment in the telecommunications sector at the moment is questionable. We do not recommend to buy the company's shares and to wait for a drop in prices in the medium term, despite the short-term positive impact of this transaction.
