03.05.2016 - Halliburton loss rose to 1.79 billion dollars

The company Halliburton, which recently announced the refusal from the merger with Baker Hughes reported for the 1st quarter of this year. Thus, the second largest service company in the oil and gas sector showed a decline in revenues in North America to 1.79 billion dollars. The company's loss totaled 2.41 billion dollars, compared to a loss of 643 million dollars for the same period of the previous year. Total revenue fell by 40% to 4.16 billion dollars. In the coming months, we expect the fall of the company's share price by 10-15%, but in the second half of the year the situation may improve.
