06.01.2015 - UK economic growth is slowing down
Today in the UK was published the data on service PMI, which unexpectedly fell to 55.8 in December, against 58.6 in November. It is worth noting that the slowdown is also observed in the manufacturing and construction sectors. This fact indicates a slowdown in growth impulse of the UK economy in the 4th quarter of this year. As a result, we can see that the Bank of England will not hurry with raising interest rates and the price of the British pound will continue to decline gradually to a level of 1.50.
