07.02.2014 - Investors are waiting for data on unemployment

Futures on the broad U.S. index S&P 500 increased yesterday on the background of positive statistics on the labor market in the U.S., where the number of unemployment claims dropped to 331 thousand against the forecast 337 thousand. At the same time, market reacted positively on the statement of the ECB's plans for further stimulation of the economy of the euro area. Price of the futures reached a strong level 1780, but could not overcome it. Further progress will depend on the statistics on unemployment, which will be published today at 13:30 GMT. Downward correction is possible to 1760. Growth is limited by the resistance at 1810.
