The price of gold has not changed much. Investors are trying to determine the future direction, but on the market at the moment there are too many conflicting factors. Prices are supported by message on monetary easing in the Eurozone, but the growth on the stock markets and weak demand for physical gold in Asia adversely affect the price of the metal. We expect further signals and keep a long-term positive outlook for gold.
The price of Light Sweet crude oil has resumed growth amid positive data on the U.S. labor market. Bigger number of employed population will positively affect the demand for fuel. In addition, investors reacted positively to the easing of monetary policy by the ECB. It is worth noting that the markets are still afraid of the new package of sanctions against Russia due to the unstable situation in the eastern regions of Ukraine. We maintain a long-term negative outlook for oil.
