10.02.2016 - Humana's profit fell by 30%

One of the largest US companies in health insurance Humana, has published a report for the 4th quarter of 2015, according to which profits fell by 30% to 101 million dollars against 145 million dollars during the same period last year. Revenue increased by 8.4% to 13.36 billion dollars. The number of clients within Medicare Advantage increased by 13% to 2.8 million, but fell in the commercial insurance by 12% to 899.1 thousand. Given the agreement on the acquisition of companies Aetna, we expect the resumption of growth of quotations in the second half of the year by 20-25%.
