10.10.2016 - Investor’s confidence in the euro area continues to recover
Today was published the data on the index of investor confidence in Eurozone from Sentix, which was 8.5 in October against the forecast of 6.2, and the previous value of 5.6. It should be noted that this figure was the highest in 4 months. Activity today will be low due to the holiday in the US, and the dynamics of trading this week will affect the data on retail sales in the US, as well as speculation on the timing of the Fed raising interest rates and future volumes of monthly asset purchases in the euro area. Our medium-term outlook for the euro remains negative with a potential of decline to 1.0700 and 1.0550.
