11.03.2015 - Traders are waiting for a signal on the British pound

The price of the British pound continues to consolidate around the levels 1,5050-1,5150 despite the publication of statistics on industrial production in the country. Thus, industrial production fell in January by 0.1% against the expected growth of 0.2%. At the same time the manufacturing production showed a decline of 0.5%, compared to the projected growth of 0.2%. At the moment, the price of the British currency remains under the pressure of fall of the euro, the strengthening of the US dollar and uncertainty about the growth of industry of the country. We predict position recovery of the British pound in the near future, but we recommend wait for a signal to open new positions.
