12.07.2016 - Australian dollar rises following commodities

The price of the Australian dollar shows growth on the background of positive dynamics on commodity markets that strongly influence investors’ sentiment with respect to the Australian dollar. It is worth noting that today was published strong data on the index of business confidence in Australia, which rose to 6 in June, which is two times more than in May. On the trading dynamics tomorrow will affect the data on China's trade surplus, and on Friday will be published statistics on the growth of the Chinese economy in the second quarter. We maintain our medium-term negative outlook for the Australian dollar, despite the possible continuation of growth in the near future.
