12.09.2014 - Alcoa has signed a contract with Boeing

On Thursday, the сorporation Alcoa has concluded multi-year contract to supply aluminum plates for aerospace company Boeing. With the reduction in the price of aluminum, the aluminum giant has recently focused on the more advanced processing and manufacturing of metal parts for the aerospace industry. Let us recall that last year the company announced a loss of 2.3 billion dollars in the second quarter of this year, Alcoa made a profit of 138 million dollars. Given the advances in the production of parts for the aircraft we maintain a positive outlook for the medium-term with growth potential, up to 10-15% by the end of the year.
