14.08.2015 - GDP growth in the euro area has slowed to 0.3% in the second quarter

Today have been published preliminary data on GDP growth in the euro area in the second quarter. As a result, GDP grew by 0.3%, which was worse than analysts' forecasts at 0.4%. For the year, the growth was 1.2%, versus 1.0% previously, but analysts had expected an increase of 1.3%. The consumer price index was 0.2% in July, which coincided with forecasts of analysts. On Monday, the dynamics will depend on the statistics for the euro area trade balance, which will probably disappoint investors.
