17.07.2015 - RBNZ may lower interest rates next week

The price of the New Zealand dollar shows a strong decline in recent weeks amid expectations of monetary policy easing of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. Next week, will be published the decision on the Reserve Bank of New Zealand on monetary policy. We estimate that the probability of lowering interest rates is higher than average. In case of such a scenario is expected the further drop in prices to 0.63. Our medium-term outlook remains negative in connection with the negative impact of lower export prices.
