17.09.2014 - Sony worsened prognosis

Japanese corporation Sony released a report according to which the net loss for the current fiscal year will be greater due to the low sales of smartphones, which fell short of analysts' expectations. Thus the expected loss for the year that will end in March will be 2.15 billion dollars. The company plans to sell only 43 million phones, despite the fact that earlier the segment of mobile phones was a key to the company. We do not recommend buying the company's shares and in case of the beginning of correction on the stock markets, expect a drop in prices by 20-25% in the medium term.
