Shares of Wal-Mart Stores fell by more than 30% for the year, but now show a positive trend due to the improved outlook for earnings and revenue. The company's revenue for the year according to analysts will be 4.50-4.65 dollars per share, up from a previous forecast of 4,40-4,70 dollar per share. Revenue for the third quarter declined by 1.3% to 117.41 billion dollars, while profit fell to 3.3 billion dollars against 3.71 billion dollars in the same period last year.
