18.03.2015 - Profit of Oracle Corp. decreased by 3%

Oracle Corp. announced the decline in profits in the last quarter by 3%, which was caused by the negative effect of the strengthening of the dollar as well as due to significant competition on the market. At the moment, companies are trying to diversify its product line and launch new types of databases to work with staff and corporate marketing. Sales of new licenses for the company's products fell by 7%. At the same time, revenue rose to 9.327 billion dollars against 9.307 billion dollars in the same period last year. The company's profit totaled 2.5 billion dollars against 2.57 billion for the same period last year. Despite the deterioration in the current financial performance, we expect growth of quotations of 12-15% by the end of the year.
