18.05.2015 - Industrial production in Japan continues to decline

Today was published statistics according to which the volume of industrial production in Japan, which is the third largest economy in the world, fell for the second month in a row. Thus, the fall of the index was 0.8% in March, compared with an expected decline of 0.3%. It is worth mentioning that on Wednesday will be published data on the growth of Japan's GDP in the first quarter of this year, and the fall in industrial output increases the likelihood of disappointment statistics on the growth of the economy. Therefore, we maintain a medium-term negative outlook on the Japanese yen against the US dollar.
