19.01.2015 - Sales of Renault SA rose by 3.2%

Sales of French automaker Renault SA rose by 3.2% in 2014. The main driver of sales growth have become budget cars Dacia. Despite this, a negative factor for car sales was a drop in sales in Russia, Argentina and Brazil. As a result, the company sold 2.7 million vehicles in 2014, which is 3.2% more than in 2013. It is worth recalling that the demand for cars has increased by 3.5%. The highest sales growth was recorded in Europe - by 19.1%. At the same time, the sales in Russia fell by 7.4%. Given the steady growth in the segment of budget cars, we expect further improvement in the results of the company and anticipate growth by 10-13% in 2015.
