19.12.2014 - The Bank of Japan expects improvement in industry and construction sector

The price of yen is gradually reduced against the US dollar. Today, the Bank of Japan declared the preservation of parameters of monetary policy in the country. Thus, the volume of asset purchases remained at 80 trillion yen. In addition, in a statement the regulator noted a more positive assessment of the economy and raised its forecast for exports, industrial production and investment in the housing market. The growth on global stock markets also reduced the demand for defensive assets like the yen. Given the loose monetary policy of the central bank of Japan, we expect continued growth of USD/JPY quotations in the medium term.
