20.05.2015 - Staples Revenue fell in the first quarter

American corporation Staples reported a decrease in sales in the first quarter by 39%, against a background of falling sales in the stores. At the same time, the delivery volume in North America has increased. The company expects to receive 5.1 billion in revenue this quarter. Earlier, the company agreed to purchase Office Depot for $ 6.3 billion. During the first quarter, the company received 59 million profit, compared to 96 million in the same period of the last year. Revenue fell by 6.9% to $ 5.3 billion. We expect weak growth by 5-7% until the end of the year and do not recommend buying the company's shares in the near future.
