20.07.2016 - Halliburton's revenue fell by 35%

Halliburton announced a loss in the second quarter of this year due to fall of revenue in North America by 43%, as well as the costs of a failed merger with Baker-Hughes. As a result, in the last quarter, the company received a loss of 3.21 billion dollars, compared with a profit of 54 million in the same period last year. Revenue fell to 3.84 billion, which is 35% less than the year before. Despite the weak performance, we expect the resumption of growth in the oil and gas industry, which will lead to a modest increase in the company's shares until the end of this year.
