20.07.2016 - UK’s unemployment fell to 4.9%

Today in the UK have been published important statistics on the labor market. Thus, the unemployment rate in May fell to the lowest since 2005 and totaled 4.9% against 5.0% in the previous period. In the same month of last year, the unemployment rate was 5.6%. Average weekly earnings increased by 2.3% compared to May 2015. Despite the positive statistics on the labor market, the UK economy will be under the pressure of the recent decision to withdraw the country from the EU. In this regard, we recommend the use the growth of the British currency to open short positions with the potential of decline to 1.2800 and 1.2200 in the medium term.
