21.03.2016 - Western Union launches its services in Cuba

The Western Union announced its intention to expand its work in Cuba after the sanctions against the country were lifted and the United States resumed diplomatic relations with that country. The work on the island according to the company will begin in the second quarter of this year. It is planned that the customers will be able to use money transfer services from 490 different locations. This step will increase the volume of transfers and improve the company's financial performance. We expect a moderate growth of quotations.
