22.01.2015 - The number of housing starts in the US rose

US housing market shows a lack of strong growth, but shows a steady demand for housing in America. Let us recall that the construction sector is the largest employer in the United States and a key industry for the country's economy. It is worth noting that the number of permits issued for construction of new homes in the US fell in December to 1.03 million against the forecast of growth to 1.06 million. At the same time, the number of housing starts rose to 1.09 million, against the expected 1.04 million. We expect strong demand in the industry that will have a positive influence on US stock indexes, but the negative impact of external factors according to our estimates will lead to the fall of the US stock markets in the long run.
