22.10.2014 - Heineken sold less beer in Europe

Net profit of the world's largest producer of beer - Heineken in the third quarter fell by 4.8%. The reason for the decrease in of the indicator have become weak sales in Europe due to bad weather. This fact has led to a decrease in global sales despite the growth in emerging markets. Net profit amounted to 460 million euros against 483 million euros in the same period last year. Revenue fell by 1.5%, to 5.1 billion euros, compared with 5.18 billion in the 3rd quarter of 2013. Given the end of the high sales season, we recommend to refrain from buying shares of the company.
