25.08.2014 - S&P500 approached the level of 2000

The index of American stocks S&P500, which is the main benchmark of the American stock market hit a record high and approached the psychologically important mark of 2000. Improved macroeconomic indicators of the United States led to an increase in the index in recent years, but many analysts point to the overvaluation of the market despite the positive corporate reports of ¾ American corporations.

Completion of the program of quantitative easing, which is predicted in October, may lead to a significant correction in the market, as it was after the completion of the previous phases of the program of quantitative easing. We forecast decline in the index by 10-15% with target near 1780. After correction, the growth of an index can be resumed again in case of a positive economic situation in the United States.
