26.05.2015 - PepsiCo will remove aspartame from Diet Coke

The company PepsiCo announced their intention to remove aspartame from the diet cola and replace it with another sweetener - suсralose. Sales decreased due to the negative impact of customer concern on sugar substitutes, forced the company to revise the composition of the diet drink. At the same time, aspartame will be used in the manufacturing of diet beverages outside the United States. The company's sales fell by 5.2% last year and a further drop in sales will be negatively displayed on the share price.
