26.11.2014 - UK’s GDP grew by 0.7% in the third quarter
Today have been published the data on the growth of UK's GDP. Thus, the rate in the 3rd quarter of this year showed an increase of 0.7%, in line with analysts' forecasts. Compared to the same period of the last year, the economy grew by 3.0%. One of the main drivers of growth was the increase in household consumption by 0.8%, which was the largest increase since the second quarter of 2010. At the same time, investment of companies decreased compared to the previous period. We are positive about the growth prospects of the British stock market, but the main problem is the weak figures in the Eurozone. We expect rise of the indexes in the near future, but its potential continues to decline.
