27.10.2015 - UK GDP rose by 0.5% in the third quarter

Today was published important statistics on the growth of the British economy in the third quarter. Thus, the analysts forecast an increase by 0.6%, but the figure was only 0.5%. In the second quarter of this year, the economy grew by 0.7%. It is worth noting that in comparison with the same period of the last year, the growth of the UK’s economy has slowed to 2.3%, the lowest level since 2012. The service sector showed an increase of 0.7%, but industrial production fell by 0.3%, which was the third in a row this year. Our medium-term outlook for the British pound remains negative with the immediate objectives at 1.5200 and 1.5000.
