27.06.2014 - The U.S. will sell more natural gas
U.S. Congress voted to simplify the procedure of LNG exports from the country. For the bill have voted 266 congressmen while 150 were against it. Now the Senate must approve the bill after which the term of request approval for the supply of natural gas will be reduced from 90 to 30 days. Adoption of the law will help to increase shipments of liquefied natural gas to countries with which the U.S. does not have an agreement on free trade.
This event will increase the country's exports and stimulate the construction of terminals for loading and unloading of natural gas in the U.S. and Europe. The stimulus for more rapid adoption of the law has become strained relations between the West and Russia in connection with the annexation of the Crimea, and the increase in gas production in the United States.
We are positive about this step for the U.S. and European economy.
