28.04.2016 - US GDP grew by 0.5%

Today was published important statistics on the growth of US GDP for the 1st quarter, which slowed to 0.5%. Analysts predicted the expansion of the US economy by 0.7%. It is worth noting that in the 4th quarter last year, GDP growth was 1.4%. Most sectors of the economy with the exception of the housing market showed a decline. Consumer spending rose by only 1.9%, a strong decrease of 8.6% was recorded in investments in equipment. Investors predict the acceleration of economic growth in the second quarter, but this slowdown early in the year can lead to continuing growth in the euro in the near future, but the medium-term outlook remains negative.
