Today was published preliminary data on GDP growth in the UK in the second quarter of this year. The figure rose by 0.7%, in line with analysts' forecasts. It is worth recalling that in the first quarter grew by 0.4%. Compared with the same period of the last year, the growth of the UK economy was 2.6%. Given the uneven growth of the economy and the expectation of a stronger US dollar after the Fed raising interest rates, we maintain a medium-term negative outlook on the British pound.
