28.12.2015 - Markets are corrected after the rise during last week

The American stock market showed an increase last week amid the recovery in oil prices, which supported the shares of energy companies. It is worth noting that investors do not hurry to open new positions before the end of the year. Today, in the US will not be published important data, but tomorrow will be released report on consumer confidence in the United States. Given the lack of drivers for growth in the near future and the tightening of monetary policy of the US Federal Reserve, we are forecasting a decrease on the markets of America in the near future.

European stocks today show weak activity. In Britain today, is a day off. Investors fixed position before the New Year after strong growth last week. In the coming days will not be published important data and we expect a gradual decline on the markets of the region within the correction. Despite this, our medium-term outlook remains positive due to the effect of the quantitative easing program in the Euro zone, the weakening euro and low oil prices.

The main markets of the Asia-Pacific region today, did not show uniform dynamics. The Japanese Nikkei 225 index rose against weakening of the yen against the US dollar. It is worth noting the negative data on retail sales in Japan, which in November fell by 1.0%, compared to the same period last year, against an expected decline of just 0.1%. At the same time, industrial production in November compared with the previous month decreased by 1.0%, which is 0.6% worse than analysts' expectations. We expect growth on the stock markets in the region after the New Year, but do not exclude the fall in the near future.
