29.01.2016 - Data on MasterCard’s revenue fell short of forecasts

MasterCard has published statements for the 4th quarter according to which income for the period increased by 11% compared to the same period last year, but fell short of analysts' forecasts. Strengthening of the US dollar was negatively displayed on the company's results. As a result, the company earned 890 million dollars for the quarter, against 801 million for the same period last year. Revenue rose by 4.4% to 2.52 billion vs. expected 2.55 billion. Despite the fact that the current drop is likely to continue in the coming months, we expect the resumption of growth of stocks by 30-35% per annum after the current fall.
