30.06.2015 - Japanese car exports fell by 10%

Today was published important statistics from the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association. According to the report, in May, exports of buses, cars and trucks decreased by 10.0%, compared to the same period of the last year. Production also dropped by 17% and the fall was observed for 11 consecutive month. In May it was produced 645 thousand cars against 774 thousand in the same period last year. This fact negatively affects our expectations on the Japanese yen and we expect further declines in the medium term.
