30.07.2014 - The situation in the construction sector in China may improve in the second half

International agency Moody’s Investors Service announced forecast according to which in the second half of this year, sales of real estate in China are likely to increase. Stimulus for sales growth should be the reduction of restrictive measures on the construction of real estate in some cities in China, as well as launching a number of new projects by developers.

According to analysts of the agency, the availability of mortgages in the second half of the year should also grow. It should be noted that the decline in the construction sector and the fear of the bubble on the housing market in China are the main factors that inhibit the growth of stock markets in the country.

Given the improvement in the industry in China and the growth forecast for the housing market, we expect that the Chinese market will continue to grow in the long term but in the medium term we expect a substantial correction on global stock markets.
